Hungarian Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/4 lbs beef stew meat
  • 1 lb carrot, sliced
  • 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope lipton onion mushroom dry soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 cup reduced-fat sour cream
  • egg noodles

Recipe

  • 1 mix all ingredients except sour cream in crock pot. cover & cook on low 8 - 10 hours until tender. turn off & stir in sour cream until well blended. serve over hot cooked egg noodles.
