Sauteed Savoy Cabbage And Pears

Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 savoy cabbage, shredded (or finely chopped)
- 2 bosc pears, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper (to taste)
Recipe
- 1 in a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp of the butter; add the shredded cabbage and toss to coat with the butter. cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until it is crisp-tender.
- 2 while the cabbage is cooking, in a seperate skillet, over med-high heat, melt the remaining 1 tbsp butter;.
- 3 add the thinly sliced pears and sugar. cook for 1-2 minutes.
- 4 stir the pears into the cabbage skillet. cook over medium low heat for about 1-2 minutes. season with salt and pepper.
- 5 serve.
