Lamb Lo-mein Soup

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh chinese noodles
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/2 lb lamb loin, cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 3 scallions, shredded
  • 1 1/4 cups chinese cabbage, shredded
  • 4 cups chicken broth, hot
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • soy sauce, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 bring water and salt to boil.
  • 2 add noodles and boil for 8 minutes.
  • 3 drain and set aside.
  • 4 while noodles are cooking, put oil into pan and saute lamb, scallion, and cabbage until lamb is done.
  • 5 add lamb mixture, noodles, salt, and pepper to chicken broth.
  • 6 add soy sauce.
  • 7 serve.
