Peppery Beef Stir Fry

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 small head of cabbage, shredded
  • 1 carrot, peeled and coarsely grated
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat, and add oil.
  • 2 saute garlic for about 5 seconds, then add ground beef. stir-fry until beef is evenly brown.
  • 3 stir in cabbage, carrot and pepper, and cook until vegetables are tender and beef is fully cooked.
  • 4 stir in soy sauce.
