Ingredients

- 4 slices bacon (cut into 1 inch slices)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 1/2 of the reserved cabbage (sliced thinly)
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 cook the bacon and set aside.
- 2 add the onion and sauté in the bacon grease until very tender, about 7-10 minutes.
- 3 add the cabbage, bacon, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper and saute until the liquid disappears.
