Sensational Salad

Ingredients

- 1 head chinese cabbage
- 1 bunch green onion
- 2 1/2 ounces sesame seeds
- 2 1/4 ounces almonds, sliced
- 2 -3 ounces ramen noodles
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
Recipe
- 1 rinse cabbage, slice and chop onions and cabbage.
- 2 combine these two ingredients in a large bowl and chill until just prior to serving.
- 3 break noodles into tiny pieces, while still in the bags, remove seasoning packets (do not use them).
- 4 saute noodles, sesame seeds, garlic in oil until lightly browned; add salt and pepper. store in refrigerator.
- 5 combine soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and oil and boil for no more than 1 minute. store in refrigerator.
- 6 just before serving, combine everything and toss gently.
- 7 note: you may also add cooked chicken and/or orange slices.
