Regina's Lazy Golamki (lazy Cabbage Rolls)

Ingredients
- 2 cups uncooked long-grain rice
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 medium green bell pepper
- 1 (4 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 medium head of cabbage
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 1 cup bacon bits
- 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans tomato soup
Recipe
- 1 cook rice according to package directions.
- 2 saute beef with onion and green pepper. mix in tomato sauce and bacon bits. add salt and pepper to taste.
- 3 chop cabbage in 1/2-inch pieces.
- 4 spray a large baking dish.
- 5 layer in 1/2 of chopped cabbage, spread meat mixture over cabbage and top with remaining cabbage; pour tomato soup over top.
- 6 cover with tin foil and bake at 350*f for 1-1/2 hours or until cabbage is tender.
