Green Coleslaw

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 12 cups slivered cabbage
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced fine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon celery seed
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 toss together cabbage, pepper and onion.
  • 2 sprinkle with sugar and toss.
  • 3 combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • 4 pour over the slaw and toss. let stand one hour.
  • 5 refrigerate a minimum of an hour, but a few hours is good.
