Kelfling's Cabbage Stir Fry

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 1/2 cups onions, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons braggs liquid aminos or 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chinese five spice powder
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon mrs. dash table blend seasoning
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
- 3 1/2 cups cabbage, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 cups broccoli florets (optional)
- 1/4 cup peanuts or 1/4 cup cashews, coarsely chopped
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup cooked brown rice (optional)
Recipe
- 1 heat oil on medium in a large frying pan and saute the onions, garlic and sesame seeds for 5-7 minutes.
- 2 add the bragg's/soy sauce and spices. stir well and cook for a minute. note: i used mrs. dash table blend which is an all-purpose seasoning. if you don't have mrs. dash then i would add a bit of black pepper instead. the red pepper flakes are hot so just use a tiny bit or if you don't have them add a little hot sauce.
- 3 add the cabbage and carrot, stir and cover. cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 4 add the broccoli if you're putting it inches stir, cover and cook 5 more minutes.
- 5 add the nuts, green onions, and rice. stir, cover and cook 5 more minutes.
