Orange-cabbage Slaw

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 large orange, zested and juiced
  • 2 teaspoons wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups red cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 4 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 3 medium carrots, shredded
  • 8 cabbage leaves, for garnish
  • black sesame seed, for garnish
  • sesame seeds, for garnish

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl, whisk together orange juice, 1 1/4 teaspoon orange zest, vinegar, sesame oil and salt until blended.
  • 2 add green cabbage, red cabbage, scallions and carrots; toss gently to coat. cover and chill 1 hour.
  • 3 arrange cabbage leaves on serving platter, if desired. top with slaw.
  • 4 garnish with black and sesame seeds, if desired.
