Orange-cabbage Slaw

Ingredients

- 1 large orange, zested and juiced
- 2 teaspoons wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 4 cups red cabbage, thinly sliced
- 4 scallions, thinly sliced
- 3 medium carrots, shredded
- 8 cabbage leaves, for garnish
- black sesame seed, for garnish
- sesame seeds, for garnish
Recipe
- 1 in a bowl, whisk together orange juice, 1 1/4 teaspoon orange zest, vinegar, sesame oil and salt until blended.
- 2 add green cabbage, red cabbage, scallions and carrots; toss gently to coat. cover and chill 1 hour.
- 3 arrange cabbage leaves on serving platter, if desired. top with slaw.
- 4 garnish with black and sesame seeds, if desired.
