Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 2 cups red cabbage, shredded
- 2 cups green cabbage, shredded
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium carrot, coarsely grated
- 1 cup coarsely grated raw turnip
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup vinegar or 3/4 cup wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 pinch dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
Recipe
- 1 mix vegetables together in large bowl.
- 2 combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan.
- 3 bring to a boil.
- 4 pour liquid mixture over the vegetables.
- 5 mix thoroughly.
- 6 chill several hours before serving.
