- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups dry bread crumbs

- preheat oven to 325 degrees f (165 degrees c).
- place cabbage in a 2 quart casserole dish. sprinkle with sugar, salt and nutmeg. pour cream over cabbage and top with bread crumbs.
- bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.
