Creamed Cooked Cabbage

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 5 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups dry bread crumbs

    Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

    Ready Time: 1 hr 10 mins

  • preheat oven to 325 degrees f (165 degrees c).
  • place cabbage in a 2 quart casserole dish. sprinkle with sugar, salt and nutmeg. pour cream over cabbage and top with bread crumbs.
  • bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.
