Far East Salad

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons gingerroot (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup dried shrimp
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 4 cups cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 carrot (peeled, shredded)
  • 2 green onions (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds (toasted)

Recipe

  • 1 combine the vinegar, ginger, sugar, soy sauce, shrimp and oil. let stand 1 hour.
  • 2 toss with the cabbage, carrots, onions and sesame seeds.
  • 3 serve.
