Scalloped Cabbage

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 -2 sleeves saltine crackers, crushed
  • cream or milk
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/3 cup butter

Recipe

  • 1 slice cabbage fine and cook in salted water until tender.
  • 2 in a deep casserole dish, layer cabbage, crackers to cover, and cheese.
  • 3 repeat layerss ending with cabbage on top.
  • 4 dot with butter and cover with cheese.
  • 5 pour cream or milk until it comes to the top of dish.
  • 6 do not cover with milk.
  • 7 bake at 350 for 30 mintues.
