Italian Style Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 quarts chicken broth
- 1 (19 ounce) can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups chopped cabbage
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped carrot
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried italian seasoning
- 1 (16 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
- salt and pepper
- 2 cups seasoned crouton seasoned stuffing mix
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients except thawed vegetables, salt, pepper and stuffing mix in slow cooker. cover and cook on high 4-5 hours, adding vegetables during the last 20 minutes.
- 2 season to taste with salt and pepper. spoon ¼ cup stuffing mix into each soup bowl; ladle soup over.
