Italian Style Vegetable Soup

Total Time: 4 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 1/2 quarts chicken broth
  • 1 (19 ounce) can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped cabbage
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped carrot
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried italian seasoning
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cups seasoned crouton seasoned stuffing mix

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients except thawed vegetables, salt, pepper and stuffing mix in slow cooker. cover and cook on high 4-5 hours, adding vegetables during the last 20 minutes.
  • 2 season to taste with salt and pepper. spoon ¼ cup stuffing mix into each soup bowl; ladle soup over.
