Fruity Red Cabbage

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 lb red cabbage, shredded
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 eating apple, peeled, cored & sliced
- 2 ounces sultanas
- salt
- fresh ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
Recipe
- 1 layer the cabbage, onion, apple and sultanas in an ovenproof dish. seasoning each layer with salt and pepper.
- 2 mix the vinegar and water together and sprinkle over.
- 3 cover with a piece of greasproof paper then the lid.
- 4 bake in a preheated oven at 350f/180c (160c fan oven) for 90 minutes until tender.
- 5 stir well before serving.
- 6 can be cooked at higher temperature for shorter time or lower temperature for longer time - depening on what else you are cooking at the same time.
