Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 1/2 cups hot water
- 3 teaspoons instant beef bouillon
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups uncooked broad egg noodles
- 1 lb cabbage, shredded (about 6 cups)
Recipe
- 1 brown meat and onion together in a large skillet (or pot) for about 10 minutes; stir often.
- 2 drain off any fat.
- 3 stir in water, instant broth and pepper; bring to a boil.
- 4 mix in the noodles and the cabbage.
- 5 cover and simmer for about 10 minutes or until noodles are tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
