Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage, shredded
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1 small onion, shredded
- celery seed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 place cabbage, carrot and onion in a bowl that can be covered.
- 2 sprinkle with celery seed.
- 3 bring to a boil the sugar, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.
- 4 pour boiling mixture over veggies. do not stir veggies.
- 5 cover and refrigerate overnight or for about 6 to 8 hours.
