Ingredients

- 1 cabbage
- 1 egg
- 2 fluid ounces vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
Recipe
- 1 shred cabbage rather fine.
- 2 put in saucepan or steamer basket and sprinkle with salt.
- 3 cover pan and place over a low flame and steam until very tender.
- 4 beat the egg, add the sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar and pour over the steamed cabbage.
- 5 heat for 5 minutes and serve at once.
