Braised Cabbage

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 9 cups cabbage, shredded (about 1 1/2 lbs)
  • 3 carrots, scraped and grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 saute the green onions in melted butter in a large skillet until it is tender.
  • 2 add the cabbage and carrot; saute 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. stir in the salt and pepper.
