Mika's Asian Ramen

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 cup carrot, shredded
  • 1 small onion, cut in half and sliced into 1/2 moon shapes
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups napa cabbage
  • 2 cups bean sprouts
  • 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili-garlic sauce (or to taste)
  • 1/8 teaspoon chinese five spice powder (or to taste)
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages beef-flavor ramen noodles, cooked and drained

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet brown beef and add garlic, ginger, carrots and onion until vegetables are tender crisp.
  • 2 add water and remaining ingredients including only one seasoning packet from the ramen noodles.
  • 3 cook for a few more minutes until heated through and serve.
