Freezer Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 medium head of cabbage (about 10 cups shredded)
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1 green pepper, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, combine shredded vegetables and salt. let stand for 1 hour.
  • 2 place remaining ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil, and boil for 1 minute. cool.
