Ingredients

- 1 medium head of cabbage (about 10 cups shredded)
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1 green pepper, shredded
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vinegar
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon mustard
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl, combine shredded vegetables and salt. let stand for 1 hour.
- 2 place remaining ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil, and boil for 1 minute. cool.
- 3 drain vegetables and add vinegar mix. stir gently.
- 4 freeze in tightly-sealed freezer containers.
- 5 to serve, thaw and serve chilled.
