Freezer Coleslaw

Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage, shredded about 10 cups
- 2 carrots, shredded
- 1 green pepper, chopped fine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
Recipe
- 1 in large bowl, combine veggies with salt.
- 2 let stand 1 hour.
- 3 place remaining ingredients in pan and boil for 1 minute.
- 4 cool.
- 5 drain veggies and add to vinegar mixture.
- 6 stir gently.
- 7 ladle into freezer containers or bags.
- 8 freeze.
- 9 defrost and served chilled.
