Far East Salad

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1/2 cup seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, chopped
  • 4 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted

Recipe

  • 1 combine vinegar, soy sauce and ground ginger.
  • 2 add chicken and marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.
  • 3 in salad bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
  • 4 just before serving, remove chicken from marinade, reserve.
  • 5 pour marinade into cabbage mixture; toss.
  • 6 top with chicken.
