Red Cabbage And Apples In Caraway Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 small head red cabbage (about 1-lb)
  • 2 tart apples
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seed
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, freshly ground, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 place the cabbage, cut side down, on a cutting board.
  • 2 with a large stainless steel knife, slice it into very thin shreds.
