Ukranian Coleslaw

Ingredients

- 1/2 head cabbage
- 2 onions
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
Recipe
- 1 shred the cabbage as finely as possible (i chop it into very thin strips).
- 2 it should measure about 10 cups.
- 3 place in a large bowl.
- 4 thinly shred the onions and add to the cabbage.
- 5 add 1/3 of the sugar and salt and mix well.
- 6 let stand while cooking the dressing.
