Ukrainian Meat Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3/4 lb lean lamb, ground
  • 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumb
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 medium savoy cabbage
  • 1 -2 cup chicken stock or 1 -2 cup tomato juice
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill

Recipe

  • 1 saute chopped onion in butter until wilted, and cool.
  • 2 mix meat, crumbs, egg, salt, and pepper, and add onion.
