Mrs. Brown's Chinese Noodle Salad

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 1 head napa cabbage
  • 5 chopped green onions
  • 1/2 chopped green pepper
  • 2 ounces ramen noodles
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped cashews
  • 1 jicama
  • 1/2 cup mandarin orange
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Recipe

  • 1 cut and chop all vegetables.
  • 2 peel jicama before chopping into small cubes.
  • 3 brown sunflower seeds before adding in 1 tablespoon butter.
  • 4 break up ramen small.
  • 5 mix in large bowl.
  • 6 mix the dressing; pour over the salad and toss.
  • 7 not as good next day--noodles get soggy.
