Double Cranberry Slaw

Ingredients
- 1 small head cabbage, shredded
- 4 -6 baby carrots, shredded
- 1/4 small onion, shredded
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper (to taste)
- splash of your favorite hot sauce, i used cholulas
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
Recipe
- 1 use a food processor to shred all the fresh veggies, or use a packaged mix.place in a bowl.
- 2 pulse the dried cranberries & walnuts together in food processor a few times until ground but not a paste. add this to the next 7 ingedients (the dressing) and pour over the veggies. best if you let it sit in fridge several hours or overnight.
