Cabbage Casserole

Ingredients

- 1 head green cabbage
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 3 cups sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 cups buttered bread crumbs
Recipe
- 1 shred cabbage.
- 2 cook 5-8 minutes in salted water. keep the cabbage crisp.
- 3 mix butter with bread crumbs and set aside.
- 4 drain cabbage.
- 5 layer half the cabbage in a 2 quart baking dish.
- 6 cover with half the sauce and half the cheese.
- 7 repeat layer.
- 8 top with bread crumbs.
- 9 bake 15-20 minutes at 300°.
