Lamb Wasabi Tacos

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs lamb tenderloin, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 6 flat bread or 6 flour tortillas
  • 1 teaspoon prepared wasabi paste (more to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon wine vinegar or 1/2 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 head napa cabbage, shredded
  • 2 carrots, shredded
  • 1/2 english cucumber, sliced thin

Recipe

  • 1 soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.
  • 2 thread lamb on skewers and brush with hoisin sauce.
  • 3 grill lamb, over medium heat, for about 12 to 14 minutes, until no longer pink (160 degrees f), turning once.
  • 4 grill flatbread for 1 minute.
  • 5 meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine wasabi paste, water,oil, vinegar, and sugar; whisk to combine.
  • 6 layer lamb and vegetables on flatbread and drizzle with wasabi mixture.
