Hawaiian Coleslaw

Ingredients

- 4 cups fresh shredded green cabbage
- 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin orange sections
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon orange juice (from canned oranges)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
Recipe
- 1 shred cabbage into large bowl.
- 2 drain orange sections, but reserve the juice.
- 3 drain and measure the pineapple.
- 4 add salt and spices to shredded cabbage.
- 5 add the orange juice from the oranges and add the ground pepper.
- 6 toss lightly.
- 7 add the drained fruit, tossing all with a fork.
- 8 stir in the mayonnaise.
- 9 chill well before serving.
