Scalloped Cabbage

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 head cabbage, sections slightly separated
  • 6 -12 saltine crackers
  • 2 -4 teaspoons butter
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 -2 cup milk

Recipe

  • 1 cook cabbage in boiling water, about 4 to 5 minutes.
  • 2 drain.
  • 3 place a layer of cabbage leaves in a pyrex dish.
  • 4 sprinkle with crushed saltine crackers.
  • 5 dot with butter.
  • 6 salt & pepper to taste.
  • 7 repeat layers.
  • 8 cover with milk.
  • 9 bake covered, 30 - 35 minutes @ 350°f.
