Steamed Purple Cabbage

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 head purple cabbage, chopped
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 vegetable bouillon cube
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Recipe

  • 1 saute the onion in olive oil until translucent.
  • 2 add the water and bouillon.
  • 3 add the cabbage and raisins.
  • 4 cover and cook for 15 minutes until the cabbage is tender but not overly cooked.
  • 5 stir in the apple cider vinegar before serving.
