Mustard Braised Sausage & Potato Skillet

Ingredients
- Servings: 3
- 14 ounces smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 small onion, quartered and sliced
- 1 (20 ounce) package refrigerated potatoes
- 2 cups coarsely chopped green cabbage
- 1 cup beer
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon stone ground mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed
Recipe
- 1 coat a large skillet with cooking spray, butter, or oil.
- 2 add sausage and cook over med-high heat, stirring often, until browned, about 5 minutes.
- 3 remove sausage and set aside.
- 4 add onion, potato and cabbage to pan. cook, stirring often, 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
- 5 return sausage to pan.
- 6 add beer and remaining ingredients. cook about 4 minutes or until liquid is almost evaporated.
