Elsa's Pancit

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb chicken, cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 carrots, cut into sticks
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) package thin rice noodles
  • black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 place noodles in bowl and cover with warm water to soften.
  • 2 heat a large skillet to medium high heat. add little bit of oil and sauté the chicken until done.
  • 3 remove from the skillet and add carrots, celery, and cabbage. cook for a few minutes until slightly tender.
  • 4 drain the noodles and add them to the skillet.
  • 5 put the chicken back in and add the soy sauce and pepper to taste.
  • 6 you may garnish with green onions if you like.
  • 7 for a party, add things like lamb or shrimp chopped into small bite size pieces.
