Pepper Slaw

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 3 cups finely shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup green pepper, cut fine
  • 1/4 cup red pepper, cut fine (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/3 cup vinegar (more if desired)
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed

Recipe

  • 1 dissolve the sugar and salt in the vinegar and pour over the cabbage and peppers.
  • 2 taste for seasoning and add more if desired.
  • 3 add celery seed last.
