Lamb-n-cabbage Stew

Total Time: 1 hr 16 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 1 min

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 8 center-cut lamb chops (no bone)
  • 1 head cabbage, cut into strips
  • 8 large potatoes, quartered/peeled
  • 5 carrots, sliced
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 2 large onions, large dice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder
  • dried thyme
  • hot sauce
  • water (enough to cover)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Recipe

  • 1 cut chops in to 1 inch pieces.
  • 2 add all ingredients to big pot cover with water bring to a boil.
  • 3 simmer 1 hour.
  • 4 do not stir.
  • 5 when it's done add cornstarch to some water stir, add to stew stir being careful not to break up potatoes.
  • 6 cook 1 more min.
  • 7 serve with cornbread.
