Italian Cannellini And Cabbage Soup

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (15 ounce) can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
  • 3 cups thinly sliced cabbage
  • 1 small onion, coarsely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed caraway seed
  • 1/2 cup cooked mostaccioli pasta or 1/2 cup penne pasta
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients, except pasta, salt and pepper in slow cooker; cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours, adding pasta during last 20 minutes.
  • 2 season to taste with salt and pepper.
