Hot Cabbage Slaw

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 6 cups shredded cabbage
  • chopped fresh dill
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil. add onion and sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.
  • 2 add 2 tablespoons water, the cabbage, dill, sugar, salt and pepper; cover and simmer until wilted but still crunchy.
  • 3 add vinegar and toss.
