Fall Apple Coleslaw

Ingredients

- 2 cups cabbage, shredded
- 2 carrots, shredded
- 2 whole green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 apple, chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- generous pinch pepper
Recipe
- 1 shred cabbage and carrots. turn into a large bowl. thinly slice green onion, and chop apple. stir cabbage mixture.
- 2 in a small bowl, stir mayonnaise, with vinegar, dry mustard, salt and pepper. stir mayonnaise mixture into vegetables. toss well. refrigerate for at least an hour to chill and give flavors a chance to blend. refrigerated coleslaw will keep for at least a day.
- 3 stir just before serving.
