Fall Apple Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 2 carrots, shredded
  • 2 whole green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • generous pinch pepper

Recipe

  • 1 shred cabbage and carrots. turn into a large bowl. thinly slice green onion, and chop apple. stir cabbage mixture.
  • 2 in a small bowl, stir mayonnaise, with vinegar, dry mustard, salt and pepper. stir mayonnaise mixture into vegetables. toss well. refrigerate for at least an hour to chill and give flavors a chance to blend. refrigerated coleslaw will keep for at least a day.
  • 3 stir just before serving.
