Cabbage Roll Casserole

Total Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (398 ml) can tomato sauce
  • 398 ml water
  • 1/2 cup uncooked long grain rice
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • sour cream

Recipe

  • 1 brown beef with onions. add garlic, salt, pepper, tomato sauce and water. bring to a boil and stir in rice. cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • 2 place half the cabbage in a greased baking dish; cover with half the rice mixture. repeat layers. cover and bake in 350f oven for 1 hour.
  • 3 serve with sour cream. may be refrigerated before baking.
