Cabbage, Bacon And Sausage Bake

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1/2 cup virgin olive oil
- 1 cabbage
- 8 sausages
- 8 slices bacon
- 2 cups chicken stock
- salt
- pepper
Recipe
- 1 chop the onion place into a deep oven proof dish.
- 2 pour in the oil.
- 3 chop the cabbage in 1/2 then in 1/2 again, 1/2 these again; you should have about 16 thin wedges.
- 4 place these wedges into the dish.
- 5 prick the sausages skins and place on top of the cabbage wedges.
- 6 place bacon slices on top of this layer.
- 7 fill with chicken stock.
- 8 salt and pepper.
- 9 if you prefer you could cut all the ingredients up smaller for a quicker cooking time.
- 10 bake in gas 4 oven covered for 50 minutes.
