Ann's Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 large head cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 large onion, sliced and seperated into rings
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup oil

Recipe

  • 1 mix cabbage and onions.
  • 2 sprinkle evenly with sugar.
  • 3 combine remaining ingredients and bring them to a boil.
  • 4 pour liquid over cabbage and onion.
  • 5 let stand 12 hours.
  • 6 refrigerate.
