Pancit Bijon

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 cups broccoli, chopped in 1 inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup chinese cabbage, shredded
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 8 ounces rice sticks (called bijon)

Recipe

  • 1 saute' broccoli, onion, mushrooms, and celery for about 2 minutes.
  • 2 add carrots and cook an additional 2 minutes, then add cabbage.
  • 3 break rice sticks apart; soak in warm water until tender. drain and add to vegetables.
  • 4 add soy sauce - mixing well.
