My Mil's Coleslaw

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 15
  • 4 -5 lbs cabbage
  • 2 large carrots
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • 1 medium onion (large if you prefer)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4-1/3 cup vinegar
  • mayonnaise (just enough to hold ingredients together)

Recipe

  • 1 in a food processor, chop cabbage, carrots, peppers and onion.
  • 2 chop them one-at-a-time-- not all together.
  • 3 put into a large bowl and add remaining ingredients.
  • 4 mix well.
  • 5 best prepared the day before you plan to serve to allow flavors to blend and juice to form.
