Lite And Easy Cabbage Salad

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 (16 ounce) package cabbage coleslaw mix
  • 2 bunches green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 (3 ounce) package chicken-flavored ramen noodles, reserve the seasoning packet
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup splenda sugar substitute
  • 1/3 cup vinegar

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, combine the cabbage, green onions, almonds and sesame seeds.
  • 2 pour the ramen noodles into a zip-lock baggie, and crush with a rolling pin. reserve until serving time.
  • 3 to make the dressing, mix the olive oil, splenda, vinegar and reserved flavor packet. stir well to combine.
  • 4 pour over the cabbage mix and stir well. ( the dressing may be added right before serving time if you wish.).
  • 5 pour the crushed noodles over the top right before serving.
