Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups long grain rice
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 5 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 onion
- 19 ounces sauerkraut, drained
Recipe
- 1 cook rice as you normally would.
- 2 saute bacon and onion together until onion is soft and clear.
- 3 add sauerkraut.
- 4 stir.
- 5 add rice; stir.
- 6 turn into 2 quart casserole dish.
- 7 cover.
- 8 bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees fahrenheit.
