Chorizo Lentil And Black Bean Hash

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb chorizo sausage, casing removed
  • 1 1/2 cups black beans
  • 1/2 cup cooked lentils
  • 1 teaspoon reduced sodium beef bouillon paste, such as better than bouillon
  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Recipe

  • 1 fry chorizo for 10 minutes till done draining excess grease.
  • 2 add all other ingredients.
  • 3 bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer till thickened, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
