Ingredients
- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 2 cups celery, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 10 cups water
- 1 (10 ounce) box frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 (10 ounce) box of frozen yellow squash or 1 (10 ounce) box cauliflower or 1 (10 ounce) box green beans
- 2 (12 ounce) cans v-8 juice
- 1/3 cup beef bouillon granules
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon knorr swiss armat seasoning for meat
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
- 1/2 teaspoon tarragon
Recipe
- 1 boil for 20 minutes cabbage, celery, onion and bell pepper with 10 cups water. add frozen mixed vegetables and squash; cook 10 minutes. add remaining ingredients. cook 1 hour longer. contains 54 caleries per 8 oz. serving.
